What a pleasant surprise. We pulled in to check out the spring. The wife got out to gauge the temperature of the water, and to her surprise found it full of small goldfish.
Incidentally, there is a toilet and creek-side camping on the other side of the main road since camping by the spring is discouraged. There is no longer a corral of logs in the center of the spring. The logs have all been displaced to the outer edges of the pond.
What an interesting find!!
