Had a very bad "experience" with this campground, and had to share.
First off, we arrive at the campground, well before the posted hours, after a 6 hour trip... just looking to unhook the camper and relax (if you know, you know). And what are we left with at the front door? A note explaining that they left for a Christmas party, with no contact information, and no instructions for what to do.
Despite phone calls to all listed numbers, no one answered... very disappointing. I have never been to a campground that would just leave people high and dry, people with a reservation that they KNOW are arriving that day. At the very least a phone call or emailed instruction would be expected. And to make it worse, there's a key code gate, so we couldn't just proceed to our campsite.
After spending an hour calling and trying to get a hold of someone, eventually resorting to calling other campgrounds to find somewhere to stay, their Security person comes to clock in, and apologizes... but it wasn't their fault. Basic management would dictate that you have Security START EARLY if you're going to abandon the campsite when you have arrivals.
Also worth noting: the campsites, while listed on their website as "level" are very much not level. Busted up asphalt from tree roots and crumbling. Second, the train is INSANELY LOUD and comes at all hours of night, unpredictably; some of the worst sleep I have ever gotten.
On the good: the bathhouse, while stinky almost every time we went in, had decent showers and lots of hot water. No one bothered us, it was a private experience.
But, I would still say: avoid.
