Asheville East is one of my favorite KOA campgrounds. There are campsites around the lake and riverside. The staff is friendly and helpful. The camp store is well stocked with camping gear. There are gas stations, grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Black mountain has a few nice restaurants too!
