Some of the best views you can get in Alabama. If you've been to the Rockies or Sierra Nevadas then you know this isn't really "the mountains" but it's the closest you can get in AL.
If you're primitive camping - rent campsite P120 at the Upper Primitive site on Tower Road to have a spectacular view of the sunrise. Most of the other campsites are blocked by trees.
