This was our first time visiting this particular campground on Allatoona. We never saw hosts go around the entire weekend we were there and you could tell. The sites were not cleaned at all! The sites are also very overgrown with weeds and undergrowth. Most of the sites are just wide enough for the width of the camper and nothing to spare. They are also in ver poor shape with bumps from root growth and cracks. They have two dump stations, but only one capable of hooking up to rinse the black tank because the other has a missing fitting. Lastly, do not throw away the paper camping ticket that all parks give you during registration. The will lecture you about how you are supposed to hand it in upon check out. They did not tell us this when we came in and there was nothing indicating this is a requirement. The only sign they have about this, is at the exit side of the registration office which she pointed out. I politely asked her how we would see this sign, if we were at the campsite all weekend….more lecturing. We’ve never been asked for our paper hangtag and we’ve camped a lot in a variety of places.
