The beach is ideal for families to spend a day. The cost is only $2/person. There is inexpensive ice cream available at the beach entrance and concessions if you walk. Cash only! It's a perfect picnic location, and coolers are allowed. Find a picnic table or spread out a blanket under a shady tree.
