If there's a city where it's remotely acceptable to sell a $19 sandwich that doesn't look awfully filling, it's going to be Beverly Hills... and if there's someone who says "I'll never pay that" yet finds herself here 3 times in the last 2 months, it's me.

By far my favorite is the GIARDINERA. Focaccia from Bianca Bakery is clutch - one of my favorite bakeries. Fresh prosciutto sliced to perfection, and spicy pickled veggies, with their sauce. It is deceivingly filling for me but I'm not sure a grown man with a healthier appetite would agree. The mortadella one was okay and I would have preferred more seasoning, whether it be calabrian chilis or something else. You can purchase those as sides.

Note: Dining in gets CRAZY - the tables are narrow and there isn't much space, but it adds to the bustling deli vibe. Come during an off hour if possible. Take out is my preference, the bread is strong enough to hold for a quick drive back home.

The couple who runs the shop seems to have regulars already. They're kind but busy, so don't expect 5 star service. It's a quick in and out type of place.

Parking in one of the Beverly Hills lots is easily accessible right behind the shop, $2/hour.
