I loved the campground and the host, (Kim?) was lovely. Unexpected surprise was hearing frogs singing all night 🥰
Campground features: scorpions, birds, bears, deer and probably a mountain lion or two. Camp hosts have firewood for sale. Lots of hiking right from the campground. Toilets are vaults & well maintained but primitive. Lots of TP there but it is single ply etc. There is potable water from taps, no sinks around. I never figured out what to do with our grey water so tried to keep it at a minimum.
Camping is rustic and the road to the campground was like a roller coaster. We saw an RV leaving and honestly have no idea how it didn't flip over. You will definitely want a high clearance vehicle.
Campsite was nice and clean upon arriving, bear boxes were at every site and highly recommend using them. Not all campsites are level.
