They have picnic tables so you can bring your own food. You are right up on the water. There is a little history there you can read about on plaques. The water was warm and it was sort in a little cove so it felt super safe. We have an inflatable boat and kayak, easy entrance into water, we had so much fun. Rocks, not sand.
