- Free dispersed camping on the shoreline. No facilities (aka pack in/out).
- Beautiful & quiet despite being relatively close to the highway.
- The road you take to get there is flanked on either side by burned land with remnants of old neighborhoods. Fires (even propane campstoves!) require permits.
