If hiking is your main objective, this is the place. There are plenty of hiking trails to explore the Winds. I came here on Tuesday and the camp ground was empty, parking lot was packed though. Most people come here to hike and park on the trailhead free. But if you are campers with big RV and stay in your rig most of the time, this place is not for you. There is no cell service, hook-up and trash disposal. The last 10 miles of dirt road is a challenge for most cars, SUV or high ground clearance vehicles recommended. I made it with my AWD Minivan and I saw a Prius parked next to my campsite. This is the most popular trailhead in Wyoming as far as I know but I will come back again in the future.
