Love the camp ground itself, but rigid new regulations were onerous. The camp ground has a new owner is changing things which make it less accessible for family camping. The on- ground manager tried his best to be amenable to our needs, so we don't fault him, but they changed the rules after we made our reservations and paid over half our fees as a down payment. They knew we had a tent and a pop-up camper along with a screen tent when we registered in March 2021 and then told us we couldn't have a the tents due to new rules. He relented when we complained politely but made us set everything up on one of the two sites we had paid for which made no sense at all but we did it and put our campfire and a car in the other one. Then he said his boss had driven through on Friday night and wasn't happy with the tents and our set up and would be stopping by to "talk" to us on Saturday. It seemed like harassment to us although that never happened after we tried our best to satisfy the instructions. These sites we like and have camped on before week be made into "premier sites" and unavailable to normal family camping in the future. We will not return our recommend this place in the future. We are sad about these circumstances.
