Have stayed at this park many many times over the last 10+years. In-fact we had 4 family members or friends buy annual passes with us for many years.
In years past we had membership with Thousand Trails and after 6+ years of no membership we called in trying to purchase membership before a 3 day visit to this location. We were told that we should "hear about the new membership options and that they would credit our camping fee towards the purchase of the pass" When we met with the sales person she tried to push us in to a $10,000 membership, at which time we said no thanks we will stick to the $625 annual pass as we had in the past. Then we were told that they would credit us $20 of the $190 we had already paid for 3 nights instead of allowing us to buy the pass before we arrived like we tried to do. So now the decision left to us it to pay $625 plus the $170 for a pass that is currently advertised online for $625.
Needless to say we "have been" loyal to Thousand Trails for a very long time, BUT we will never stay at your parks ever again much less buy a season or longer pass from Thousand trails!
ZERO customer service , EMPTY promises and NO commitment to customers! You could have had a loyal customer, but now Im so mad i will tell all my camping friends how poor the experience was and convince them to avoid you at all costs.
