Great place to spend the night while hiking the LT. There is a privy, bear box, firepit, wash pit for camp cookware, and a water source a short walk away (dumps into the pond). The shelter has a picnic table and lots of bunks including a loft. The pond is nice and you might ne able to take a canoe out on it. There is a beaver lodge across the pond from the caretakers campsite.
