This is also known as Straight Wash Trailhead and the "Amazing Pool" trailhead. Excellent canyon hike leading behind the reef. The Amazing pool is maybe 200 yards up Eardley Canyon. This is as far as you can hike without canyoning gear. The views behind the reef are impressive. You can also hike up onto the reef from here as well as both North and South to explore more remote canyons and slickrock.
