Beautiful place. The pics are from early fall 2023. Hiking has some unlevel ground although easy for kids with good balance Saw bighorn sheep close to the river area.
The first part of trail has a stinging/blistering plant near the water. The 4 yo accidentally touched it and pain with blisters started but saline spray stopped the effect and he enjoyed the rest of the hike. Take Saline and a clean cloth just in case.
