First time camping here, very new to camping. Gorgeous drive up in the fall. Arrived at 3pm and only a few places taken, was first come first serve. We picked site 8. Great secluded spot, but I can understand complaints about small tent space and no privacy. We were lucky hardly anyone showed up on a Sunday.

Area was beautiful, lots of nature sites to see. Never saw/met the host. No running water. Brought our own firewood and water. Toilets are a pit but we're clean, just far from our site.

Some guy came walking right through our campsite though, it was unnerving from the woods behind us like it was no big deal.

Also lots of wasps or hornets, pretty annoying, but they were just thirsty, it's not their fault.

Overall, enjoyable experience. Would camp here again.
