Great place with not a lot of people there. The campground is a little more spread out than some of the other lakes that are close. There’s disperse camping right down the street if you have dogs or don’t want to deal with Karen’s. We had a Karen next to us that kept complaining about our dogs who weren’t on a leash but never once went to her campsite.
Beautiful scenery. A lot of the pines are dead by the lake but if you drive past the lakes, the pines are thriving a lot more, the more you drive back. We’ll definitely be going back.
