Summary: I'm so happy they put a wooden ladder on the hardest part to climb up/down instead of the loop rope. It's a great hike and bouldering and can be done with kids if you're careful and comfortable with some risks.
I came up here today with my boys as a throwback to when I was in college, and this was one of my favorite places. I intended that we wouldn't be able to hike the upper part with my 5 and 7 year old, though I've seen people with little kids before. Some of the places where you go around or under or over big boulders have a high possibility of slipping, falling, hitting your head or spraining an ankle if you're not careful and pay attention where you put your feet! But we were really careful and had a great time, besides some bumps, trips, and bruises. I thought for sure we'd have to stop at the loop rope because even I had anxiety about that part in the past. Now I'm kicking myself because there is actually a great, sturdy wooden ladder as well as a knew rope, and I didn't get a picture of it! Hopefully someone can snap a picture. The leaves were beautiful!!
We made it to the wall of water, and it's also a great place to explore all the other nooks and crannies.
