Great park for camping, with lots of wildlife, despite being in a city. Campground was nicely paved and level, facilities clean, trails well marked, and ranger led nature programs on the weekends. This park gets lots of day use as well, fishing is a popular activity. Convenient to shopping if needed. There is some playground equipment, leashed-dog friendly, lots of lakeside picnic tables, and restrooms are well spaced through the park, so that even if you go on quite a long hike, you are always less than a mile from a restroom.
