It seems that most of the KOA's have a freeway on one side and railroad tracks on the other. Not Kerrville KOA, they are about 5 miles from the I10 freeway on Goat Creek Rd. Although it is a fairly busy road, it's quiet at night. This is the first KOA we've been to that actually has gas and diesel pumps onsite. The workers here are so friendly and helpful, especially Hellen. I booked a pull-thru site that didn't have a sewer, Hellen took care of us and switched us to a full hookup site. We were originally going to stay two nights but we extended 1 day. We didn't get to explore the area the area because it rained so much but we plan to return here next time we come through.
