First, if you have a long vehicle or are towing, you might NOT want to head up the Coronado Nat'l Forest road. It's extremely tight, with a lot of switchbacks. The first hint should have been where, on our map, it said the road it closed in winter.
Second, the campground is completely surrounded by the road. It's a small campground, but does have pit toilets. In the upper part of the campground, you can get water. No electric, though.
We would have liked to have gone further up the road, but not in our rig. Lots of history up there.
