If you are staying monthly, take pictures of your electric meter to keep track of usage. And if you pay in cash make sure you keep your receipt because each and every time I have paid in cash they have lost the payment and they have not logged it into their books. (Over 5 different times.) and when you present the receipt they will add late fees on to previous months. And then when you ask how they can charge a late fee on payments that were made 20days before due date they have no explanation. But they have to do something to make up for the money they lost. Oh and they ask for a 200$ deposit for electricity at move in. And say that they will refund what is not used after you move out. But if they read the meter on 23 and your move out is the 21 then it’s not possible to use that much. And they have shown me time and time again that they are not ever gonna be honest about money that I have given them. YOU CAN NOT CHARGE LATE FEES when #1 payments are early and when the people that work for you say you have never been charged a late fee until they can’t find the cash payments. And if someone wants to make payments at800-900$ a month they have better options! And that’s saying that I used 400$ in electricity which is false! Not possible when I work 80 hrs a week and nothing is on. The meter isn’t moving.
