The environment is very unique, most of the rangers and staff are very friendly, and for families with children, I'm sure this is a fantastic place for them to visit. The kids I saw here loved going down the dunes on the sleds. Camping in the sand was a very unique experience, and it is always amazing to see how life can thrive, regardless of the environment. It's definitely a great place for families. If you're a hiker, the park is on the small side, so be prepared for that. They have great displays in the visitors center as well, it's well worth a visit.
