Located in Cassadaga, NY, Woodside Campground sits on the edge of 2,600 acres of pristine New York State woodlands. For almost 50 years, our family has operated Woodside which offers a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. But that isn’t to say that we don’t have fun here at Woodside Campground!
Woodside Campground is famous for its live country music and square dances that take place on various Saturday nights from 8:00 pm-12:00 midnight.
Cash & Checks Only
Woodside does not take credit/debit cards
Let me start by saying the campground was beautiful. Lots of family friendly activities. Hookups were nice (water was really chlorinated though). That is the good stuff. And the reason it gets a two not a one. We camped here because we had a wedding about 10 minutes away and wanted to make sure we had a close place to stay where we could get a ride back to make sure we weren’t driving drunk. In the interest of not driving drunk I had a friend follow me back to drop off my vehicle before the wedding started. Apparently his vehicle had to be registered in order to have it on the campground. Fair enough. Rules are rules. But they need to be posted. Instead of being polite and respectfully cluing me in to this rule, the male owner of this establishment decided to come beat down the door of my camper and SCREAM at me and my friend. I tried to explain to him that we were only here a minute or two in order to drop off my vehicle. He continued screaming at us saying “he didn’t care and that if we can’t follow the rules then we can get the hell out and we don’t need to camp here”. (Rules that aren’t posted anywhere btw). At any rate we had every intention of booking 2 campsites for the following weekend as they had an event going on that looked enjoyable. But we will NEVER be returning due to the downright rude and disrespectful manner in which the situation was handled.
Love this campgrounds.great family and friends here. Denver, Savanah, and Sally always willing to answer a question, lend a hand, or genuinely concerned about you.
Way bigger than I ever realized it was. Super cute little campsites. Live music every weekend . Able to rent go carts to get around . The "swimming pond" I wouldn't dare go in but other than that was a nice spot to camp one night or all summer .
A hidden gem of a campground nestled in the Arkwright hills. Summer live music is fun, campground is nicely laid out. Winter camping might be conjectural depending on the snowfall up here, but I'll bet it would be fun!
My my family and I camped here on 4th of July weekend. Was able to reserve by text msg just a couple days in advance. Very clean, quiet and had a lot of empty sites available. Bathroom & shower houses, playground & swimming pond. I'd definitely stay here again!
