We stayed 2 weeks and enjoyed every moment of our stay. The grounds are immaculate and dotted with fruit trees and ornamental fruit trees. Thick lush grass everywhere including the dog park! Showers, restrooms and laundry available for guests. There are car camps, tents, tiny houses, cabins and rv sites for rent. Capital Reef Natl Park and Bryce Canyon host local, national and worldwide tourists! Many other attractions in the nearby area.
Nice little park with all the amenities you'd expect, but the management is a little draconian. I had just set up my little RV to face our friends in the next site, leveled, and the RV boss came out and said I had to turn around. No buddy sites! No reason given, just, "All RVs have to be facing the same way." This wasn't written on the long list of rules, so not sure if it was arbitrary or a real rule. They are very protective of their grass, too (and it's nice grass) so be careful. Your welcome flyer has a bold, italicized, yellow-highlighted warning about bothering the grass. So, if you like rules and bossy folks messing with your business, this is the place for you! It is quite pretty...
Out of all the RV sites I’ve stayed at, this is my favorite. The price is reasonable, it offers full hook-up, and the shower rooms and restrooms are very clean. However, like many other reviewers have mentioned, I’m not a fan of the shower’s 7-minute timer, followed by a 5-minute pause (it’s genuinely freezing). For families who might need to shower quickly one after the other, this timer is a real pain.
On our tour of Utah National Parks, we had the great good fortune of camping for two nights in this idyllic park. A beautiful orchard with apples and peaches for the picking, a pastoral view of horses and colts, or dogs playing in the fenced, grassy park. The laundry and showers were immaculate, the WiFi flawless. Choose this one for no other reason than a restful, well managed stay.
Clean, friendly, practical, and lovely scenery! This was our first experience with a RV Park. The woman at the front desk was so helpful! Our site looked out on a pasture with horses and a couple of bison. Lovely. The showers were clean and offered places to put our clean clothes and towels. Little did we know that that isn’t commonplace! The following 5 RV parks we stayed in on our way to the Grand Canyon just didn’t come close to this place’s tidiness and pretty setting!
