Was there today for a family reunion! Beautiful park and nicely kept up!
Must register at the El Roy Commons, but a great park with nice tent sites, a municipal pool, and RV concrete pads. Also a river winds right through the park and sand hill cranes visit daily. Also, right along the “400” bike trail.
No shade where we're at. No after hours number to call to complain about someone running their dog loose and teasing our dogs who are tied up. Three times around the area in a side by side, even after it was obvious the first time around that it was really upsetting our dogs. Then the dog came back by itself to growl in my 4.5 month only 5 lb puppy's
face while she was confined in a pen. I had to chase it away.
We had a fantastic time camping here! It's a mowed lawn with fire rings and picnic tables. Within a 100 yards of the campsites there's pool a that we swam at for $3, bathrooms with showers, and a huge playground for the kids. I will be recommending this campground to others. Thanks!
Nice park with lots of options for camping with travel trailer or tenting.
