My father was from New Auburn, and grew up on the lake. Our family has been going to the lake annually for close to 70 years since. Small, in size, but big in relaxation. Beautiful lake, great fishing, and swimming, and relaxing. We all feel at home there. Life slows down in northern Wisconsin, and we need it.

Awesome place to do some fishing. They do have some weird bag limits, but I catch and release so doesn't bug me! Remember to go in between the red and green buoys! It is really shallow on either side of them.

Good place to camp with overnight docks for your boat as well.

There is a ton of fish in long lake, sometimes you have to get through the fish sticks to get the big ones lol!

Some tight spots but manageable. Just electric. No water. Caretaker helpful. Small beach for kids. Caught fish from shore - some tree hazards when casting.

It doesn't get much prettier than this! My family has been coming to this lake every year since the 1950's. It's a tradition we all look forward to. Campground is well kept & has a cute little playground for the kids.
