Never in my life have I seen anything like this....The pool area and restrooms are rarely unlocked, except during drunken "children birthday" parties hosted until late at night with horrific loud music, Terrible on site manager, that treats Caucasians like foreign outsiders, meanwhile her friends and family get special treatment. Illegal immigrants that speak little to no English, and drink alcohol publicly, and listen to obnoxious, loud oompah type music, packed mobile homes, some with up to a dozen or more people residing inside 1&2 bedroom homes, stockpiling trash in the yards, and very hostile on site management, fire hazards and health/fire code violations galore. You may even see people bathing in the pool/jacuzzi with shampoo and diapers in the water. Chihuahuas and random mutts run in the streets with no owners in sight. If you're a Pisa rejoyce, move in all your illegal alien freinds, clique up, and fiesta away, like drunken banditos, if not look elsewhere......Should be called Mexicali Mobile Ranch, unlike decades before when it used to be family oriented, non racist, and even had a clubhouse that residents could use. No more events for residents, (unless you consider Juan Schmoe you dont know's birthday fiesta an event). Sad that Western Mobile Village has turned into little Mexicali Village. Maybe knowing the managers husband is the maintenance man, and her daughter is the managers assistant, may make you feel that a family type of environment exists here however its more like family favoritism.
Western Village is a quiet and safe all age park with a little country look about it. RV spaces available also. The manager Norma is a prize winning asset to the park. Very cool place to live or visit.
I like it here. Been here since 2014. There are issues but the new management seems to care a bit and I believe is trying to improve the park appearance. I'm not going anywhere soon.
New ownership.......Not what it used to be. Bathrooms, pool area, and basketball/tennis courts remain locked most of the year. This park has a rich history where potlucks and other events took place often. It's a shame that as of the last 10-20 years the community has no type of activities. The restrooms and pool/hot tub stay closed except for 2-3 months during the summer, the clubhouse is now part of the on-site managers office and is no longer used as a clubhouse. The septic system stinks badly, probably as an attempt to save the management money, in previous years you could at least enjoy the hot tub, now unless it's memorial day-labor day it's locked and out of commission.
Staff is very so cool. Atmosphere is so pleasent. Grounds are gorgeous. Norma manager is awesome. Excellent place to call home.
