From Leavenworth, WA, head southwest on US-2 West for 15 miles. Turn right onto WA-207 North and go 10.5 miles. Turn right onto White River Road and go 9.3 miles.
Beautiful, next to the raging river, no cell reception, almost end of the road very secluded. Since it is far out beware of bears. deer and micr are common to roam through your camp.
A great campsite is tucked away by White River Falls. Quiet and peaceful covered by a canopy of pines. Some great exploring to be done, or rest peacefully listening to the water running over the rocks. Stay for the day or pitch a tent and stay for the night, either way is time well spent.
White River falls campground is a nice campground next to white river and white river falls. Good parking area in the campground.
Good hiking trails. Good for photography.
Good camping spaces. Good picnic tables.
The hike is about 5mi in the trails not challenging and its wide open. Be sure to bring your snacks and water.. Have fun!
This campsite is amazing. A few other campsites further away from the river. Water running through creek and water fall is a little loud if you're camping close to it, making it hard to sense nearby people or animals, especially while dark. Bring your trusty look out dog! The other campsites seem quieter
