I really enjoyed this campsite. There were 8 sites total, each with a tent pad, table, and grill/fire pit. The toilets were kept clean, and there was trash and recycling right on site. We stayed on a Monday and Tuesday night and it was peaceful with great access to the hikes in the park. Beautiful views of the river. There was a posting that this site will be $10 beginning in May 2018, but being such a great site, I would definitely stay for this small fee.

Place is nice, very easy access to gorge lake, there is a small pierce and trail to walk nearby. On a negative side, there is dust and cars are always passing by looking for a free spot. We have notified the rangers about it. But overall the experience was positive because of ice cold water and fresh air and mountains;)

Cute little place. Super Quiet. Easy to launch a kayak or two.

Great view of river rapids, and nice boat launch into the lake. Sites are close to the road, but the road is pretty quiet. The siren announcing a dam release was a surprise on Saturday evening.

Absolutely gorgeous! Views and access to the river and a boat launch in a lagoon. Also trails around. There are 8 spots and it's first come first serve. There are metal "bear boxes" for keeping your food in too! Remember to bring your own firewood! There is a nice out house and multiple garbage and recycling bins too, so you don't have to pack your trash out. My husband and I will definitely be going again. Oh and you will need your bug spray.
