One of the nicest places I found in the area. Amazing place to take the kiddos or doggos for a picturesque swim or quiet walk. Doesn't get very busy even when it is busy, compared to how packed the parks get on the other side of the mountains. And the drive there is an outstandingly beautiful trip through the rolling Palouse Hills. On the whole, visiting this park is a gorgeous experience
Beautiful, serene, quiet spot on the snake river, it has an inlet that is like a large pond, that is suitable for swimming, rafting, paddle boarding, kayaking, that has a small opening to enter the water. The waters edge for the most part are reeds and huge rocks. It has a nice covered picnic Pavillion with lots of picnic tables and 4 BBQ grills. There are scattered picnic tables throughout the park. The view is spectacular.
Wawawai client park is a beautiful thirty minute drive from Clarkston, Washington, along a very scenic route along the Snake River. It is well maintained and has a very large covered picnic area with a smaller covered picnic area that is also far enough distance for privacy. There is a very nice bathroom arrangement for guests, and the view is outstanding. There is plenty of room for kids to play on a grassy area with large trees for shade and it adjacent to the picnic area.
Beautiful place. One of the best places in east Washington to spend your weekend/holiday. You can spot many fishes and ducks swimming in the water. The green space also has so many ducks. This place is quite and peaceful to an extent that you happen to hear water and different bird sounds. This place has barbecue and water facilities. Washrooms are available.
Very nice and convenient park. Lots of large shade trees and well manicured picnic areas. A protected swim area with plenty of room for paddle boarding and swimming
