Cross the Skagit River bridge at the town of Marblemount and continue approximately 8 miles along the graveled Cascade River Road to the Marble Creek Campground. This campground is a great choice if you want a getaway close to the wildness of the Cascade Mountain range. The campground is situated adjacent to Marble Creek along the Cascade River segment of the Skagit Wild & Scenic River System. Opportunities for exploration of the area exist in nearby North Cascades National Park as well as on National Forest system trails. The campground is remote and nestled amongst giant Douglas fir and cedar trees. Come prepared as there is no cell phone coverage and no potable water.
From Sedro-Woolley, WA, take WA-20 East for 40 miles. Cross the Skagit River bridge at the town of Marblemount, and continue onto the graveled Cascade River Road for 8.6 miles.
Clean, quiet and convenient! The cleanest pit toilets I’ve ever experienced! On the banks of the cascade river with a beautiful beach and great views. If you’re hiking Hidden Lake or Cascade Pass this campground is close to both. Friendly hosts that offer firewood for sale on site.
We got a last minute spot for the holiday and it was absolutely perfect. Can walk right onto the beach. Beautiful and Private. Bathrooms did not smell and were very acceptable. The hosts were so friendly and helpful!!
We wanted to find a campground along the 20 and found a fabulous little spot on the Cascade River; Marble Creek Campground. The campground is an 8 mile drive from Marblemount on a paved road, Cascade River Road. Then, the road to reach the campground is not paved. There are only about 24 reservable sites and 4 FF sites. We reserved campsite # 21, no hookups, no dump station. Beautiful, quiet campground surrounded with trees with short walks to the swim beach near site #8. Some campsites are right on the Cascade River. Some campers used Marble Creek Campground as a base for longer, more strenuous hikes such as to Lookout Mountain and Hidden Lake.
Beautiful, Large campsites, clean vault toilets that DIDN'T SMELL BAD, and the bug-o-meter (on a scale from 1-10) was only a 4 and mosquitos LOVE me. Plenty of trees for our hammocks amd such a short walk to a wonderful riverside beach in the sun. Really great spot.
Well maintained camp ground. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. Large "beach" area along the Cascade River with nice views. Camp sites are spaced fairly well to offer some privacy.
