This place has a boat launch with a dock and river access. There is a trail and a great up close view of the boat lock. The restroom is a hard building, but has no running water. Very scenic with a great view. It has one awning and a BBQ pit. I visit here often for Steelhead fishing.
The launch ramps here are very narrow, but there is a lot of traction for your tires. There is also a lot of parking. The dock is small and there is no beach but it is great for launching away from all the crowds. Plus it's closer to home.
Access to the rails-to-trails trailhead. Flat trail along the river, rocky slopes on the other side. Nice and secluded. Some trees along the river, but no shade on the trail. Trail leads to Levy park.
Trail is wide, compact gravel.
Didn't launch from here, but here is a good sized lot and plenty of space to figure it out. If you're fishing from shore, you're welcome for taking this little jerk out if your bait bucket haha
