This campground is located on the southern shores of Dog Lake. Turning radius on interior campground roads is limited.
From Naches, WA travel west on Highway 12 for 36.6 miles. Campground entrance is on right (north) side of highway.
Gorgeous location with a fantastic, protected lake. My husband enjoyed fishing while I basked in the sun on the shore.
Good fishing here. Not very many camp spots and road noise exists from the highway. Can fish from the bank as there are spots with good casting and the water drops off quick so not much to snag a line.
nice lake with primitive camping. beautiful in fall and really lovely any time you’re in the area. there’s great hiking too!
Beautiful day spot by the lake. Quite a few mosquitoes by the water. There were lots of camping spots available, unfortunately the camp site is very close to a a downhill road bend so all night you heat car and truck traffic and lough engine break noises. This is a big downside so we found an alternative place for the rest of our trip so we could get a good night sleep.
I did not cam here. I hiked. Lake was solid ice. Hiked across it and about where I thought the trail I wanted to hike would be. Snow covered trail but still was fun.
