Very nice and clean campground! It has showers and from my experience, you get quite a bit of time for the money on them. We didn’t luck out with fishing but I’ve heard from many that it’s an excellent fishing lake. Great views. Tent only campsites are nice just off the lake, but you have to walk about 30-40 yards from the car to the site. I would recommend this place. Was on the expensive side, I think it was 25$ for one tent campsite...

Super great park next to a lake. Was easy to get an RV spot during the middle of the week with no reservations. Easy access to the boat ramp. Lots and lots of tent only camping spots that are nearest the lake. Great place for summer fun!

Great fishing opportunities! Caught a ton of perch and small bass off of the shoreline. Dogs are allowed, staff was very on top of thongs. Trash cans were emptied several times a day. Evening time they would make rounds asking if everyone had enough ice or firewood for the night . Shower is available, bathroom was extremely clean. Spots are a bit close to each other, although that is to be expected at a state park. The dock was within feet from our campsite. There is a day use area where you can enjoy a dip in the water although I would not recommend that. All of the shorelines were willed with nasty, slimy algae.

The park is easy to find right off Hwy 21. Small town nearby with groceries and other supplies. The full hookup sites are disappointing – nothing but gravel and very close together. Firepit is in back of the site in common grass area. The partial hookup sites are much nicer with lots of room between sites. Some really nice walk-in tenting sites along the lake shore. Good boat launch, docks right by campground. Nice lake stocked with trout. Camp host on site and lots of birds to watch. Some easy hiking trails with great lake views. There are lots of “No Hunting” signs in the campground, apparently this park is heavily used by hunters during fall hunting seasons. The park is clean, with plenty of grass and some shade for hot days. Picnic area with muddy beach is a moderate walking distance from campground. Not a great place for swimming. Life jackets honesty program for kids and various planned activities available.

Fantastic place. Was our first trip ever In our RV. Lush green grass, nice wide boat loach, big dock. Lakes a bit small, and a little scummy, but we had a great time jet skiing. The ranger and staff were so friendly and made you feel welcome. Everything was clean and well cared for. Highly recommend.
