About Campground
This primitive campground with easy access to the Virginia Highlands Horse Trail consists of two large grassy fields with wooden picnic tables, fire rings, and hitching rails.
Directions
In Speedwell, VA, at the intersection of State Rt. 21 and 619 (Saint Peters Rd.), take Rt. 619 east 0.1 miles to a "Y" intersection. Bear left, staying on Rt. 619, and go 4.1 miles to a "T" intersection. Turn right and go 0.4 miles to another "Y" intersection. Bear left, staying on Rt. 619 (Gleaves Rd.), to a another "T" intersection. Turn right at intersection, still on Rt.619, and go 0.1 miles to still another "Y" intersection. Bear right, onto Pope Rd., and go 0.9 miles to another "T" intersection. Turn right onto Collins Cove Rd and go 0.4 miles to campground on right.
