We stayed in the Shitake, which was all we could book because the others were sold out, so it was a little small because we had a family of four and my daughter's friend. However, the owner was awesome and the treehouse was amazing! Very fun time here and the breakfasts that come with the stay are amazing! It was a great relaxing stay and I would highly recommend checking it out!

It was quiet and peaceful and Jodie was super attentive and helpful. The grounds are very nice, there is a pool to swim in. The treehouse (Excalifir) is a work of art and every detail for a comfortable stay was covered. For a real getaway this is the place.

My husband and I stayed in The Cottage treehouse for two nights as part of our mini moon. The Cottage was lovely and we highly recommend Vertical Horizons! Our treehouse had a great patio we sat out on, a bed, a small loft with an additional bed and a half bathroom. It was secluded, so we felt like we were in our own little forest oasis. There was a lot of awesome wildlife around! Jodie and Phil are wonderful. Also, their cat and dog are adorable. Phil gave us a great recommendation for a swimming spot. It was incredibly beautiful, and was one of the highlights of our trip. This place is the best, we are for sure coming back... and the breakfast is so, so good! Phil catered to my gluten and dairy intolerances and made me the best gluten free pancakes and french toast I think I've EVER had. Thank you both so much for a wonderful vacation!

We had been driving 6 hours to get here and it was so worth it. They had a beautiful dog and it was clean and quiet, safe and comfortable and the owners make the best breakfast we ever had. We came here in 2015 and it was the best experience my boys and I had together that summer.!

This was on my wife’s buck list to do. So for our 22nd. Wedding anniversary we booked a 3 night stay in the shiitake tree house. We had a blast here, it was a memorable time that we will talk about for a lifetime. We plan on coming back next year for more memories.
