My favorite free camping spot EVER!
We've been on a road-trip for a few weeks and this place was unbelievable. We were fortunate to have awesome campers to share the few other spots with, including one who was a local and a few other travelers who showed us some really stunning views, a majestic ancient tree, some crazy looking carnivorous plants and trails that led to various areas where you can enjoy the river.
Tons of local wildlife around here too so keep your food locked up tight. They don't provide bear boxes for this site.
Just don't be one of those people who leave their garage behind. If you see some garbage and it fits in your garbage bag, please help clean up, even if just a little. If you see someone litter, please say something.
Great place to hike and camp with various trails all over. Careful for broken glass though!
So relaxing and beautiful. I only wish that people would clean up after themselves, because broken glass was everywhere. Other then that, I loved it and it's the best free place I've ever been.
You can also fish, hike, catch crawdads, catch frogs and swim if it's not too cold.
