About Campground

Foster Bar Campground is located on edge of large meadow next to the mighty Wild and Scenic Rogue River. Just downstream is the "take-out" boat ramp for rafters and fishermen; this portion of the river is world-renowned for its fishing opportunities! This is also a very important historic area, as it's the location of the last battle fought during the Rogue River Indian Wars. The [Lower Rogue River Trail #1168](http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/rogue-siskiyou/recreation/recarea/?recid=69530) accesses the Rogue River for fishing. Facilities * 8 campsites (4 tent only, 4 tent or trailer) with picnic table, and fire pits * Campground host available * Drinking water * Flushing toilets and scat machine * Garbage disposal

Newer bathroom facilities, but not well maintained. Site can be a little difficult to find since it is down a one lane road with pull offs. Once you're there, the sites are a good size, there is lots of tree coverage, and easy access to the river. Dumpsters down by the boat launch and running water at the campground. Very quiet out there. $10 per night.
