Extremely rude owner Debbie, the office staff is not friendly either. They accused my grandkids of breaking a playground toy. She would not let them tell her that it wass already cracked when they started playing, bolts were in the dirt. She screamed at them, pointed her finger at all of us and called each one of us liars, she said she saw them, if she did she didn't go over to them. The kids were crying and she just kept yelling at them and me. Then she called my phone and left a nasty message, we were leaving the campground the next morning and at 830 she came and started yelling at us again. Threatened to call the police, I told her please do! We waited a hour no one came, we agree with all the reviews, stay away she is very mean and causes unnecessary drama, not something you want to have happen when your trying to relax camping.
Debbie is the most disgusting owner at any campsite we've been to. Completely disrespectful, swears and blames children and campers for the terrible condition of her park! My child was riding the see saw and got her back side cut open because of the construction of the seat! Owner then blamed the child for the broken seat, as well as attempt to charge us for it!
Good thing I have photos!
UN-BE-LEAVABLE
This place should be shut down!
It's a beautiful place with lots of fun things to do especially for the kiddos and family. But sadly, that's the only good thing I can say about it. The service was horrible and the owner and employees were very very judgemental. Not good to there vets at all either. They definitely don't appreciate what we did for this country. And that's too bad they have to be those kinda people. My husband is a veteran amoungst many others who served this country honerably and returned home with life long mental and physical scares. And I feel they deserve just a little bit of respect at least. I pulled into this park last nite to the spot I reserved and paid for obviously and I ended up with no power all nite till the next day around 10am. They finally fixed it but we still paid full price for something we didn't have at all. We also reserved our spot for three days but all of a sudden our spot was reserved already and they didn't have anymore spots we could move too. We weren't trying to get anything for free at all we even brushed it off that they ripped us off. We just really like this spot out here and wanted what we asked for and reserved and paid for. But did not get it at all. Infact we had to leave like I said. All because we didn't have power and asked for a discount or something. It's ok though I just hope all u veterans out there read my post and hopefully they don't treat u badly. My husband feels his disabilities from fighting for this country has been nothing but a drain or a problem to this country. Which is stupid he has to feel that way after fighting for all of us to keep our freedom we do have..Thanks Medford oaks for showing us more of the selfish judgemental sick sad look of America.
Our second stay at this park. Wonderfully kind staff, great pool to cool off on summer days. Turkeys, deer, and other wildlife roam the park.
On the other hand, the sites are not level and the wifi rarely works. There are very few spots with sewer hook ups so they have a guy come out and empty your grey and black tanks twice a week.
Overall, a nice place to stay.
