About Campground

Valley's Edge is perfectly positioned between Oregon's greatest wonders. The park is well-equipped for a restful afternoon after a day on the road, but once you are ready to go, adventure is never far away. Our hope is that guests take advantage of the convenient location by parking it here at night but exploring during the day. Visit the home of the Willamette Valley's world-class Pinot Noir or catch the sunset along the stunning scenic areas of Oregon Coast. Once you are ready to head back to the park you can clean up at the dog washing station then kick your feet up.

This is a Very long review, sorry I had a lot to say.

Before I start, I want to say that you can ignore those reviewers who have said that the river wasn't accessible when they were here, because its been accessible nearly the whole time they've been open for business here.

I will give directions to the river under *the good* section of my review.

My dogs love the river here.

I personally love it here even if my rent is a bit higher than I'm used to paying,it's worth it for me because I'm close to McMinnville which is where my kids are living at the moment.

Yes the park is still under construction, because this park was built this summer while Oregon was it's usual rainy self, causing their construction to have delays.

if your from Oregon then you know how the construction is always getting delayed due to the rain.

Anyway, I don't want that to ruin the park for you, because it hasn't for me. My biggest love for this RV park is because they allow my dogs to live here.

A good portion of the families that have chosen the life of an RV family have done it because our dogs breeds are on most breed restriction lists for property owners insurance.

I have my 2 pitbull mixed breed pups. Frayja & Beast help me sleep & deal with other issues that I've found I'm not good at dealing without their assistance.

So I chose RV park living because of the nice parks just like this one, who's restrictions are based on the individual dog's behavior instead of it's breed.

Rates::

Nightly Rental Fee

$45/night

Weekly Rental Fee

$310/week

Long-Term Monthly Rentals

$650/month + electricity

::The Good::

Truly dog friendly,All dogs are judged by their actions instead of their breed. Absolutely no aggressive dogs are allowed here.

That's decided by the individual dogs behavior instead of it's breeds reputation.

There's Cable & internet thru a local company for long term &

For short stays there's wifi available & cable on the basic package.

Best of all it's not satellite, the local company uses Wave.

The Landlords & park managers are really helpful & they always return messages/calls within a good time frame.

There's a nice river right along the backside of the RV park.

If you can't find it, you just need to ask for directions to the path.

The path Starts by the parks storage sheds that are located furthest from the highway..

The path will pass a couple RV spaces before turning downward towards the river.

Please continue to keep your dogs on their leashes while your at the river.

Even dogs who love all humans & animal's might attempt to protect their family when they're not at home & a stranger(s) walk up to the area the dogs family is enjoying themselves. Especially if they have dogs themselves, So to be safe follow the rules & keep em on a leash.

It's a Leash only RV park which means you don't have other people's dogs running all over the place while your trying to walk your dog.

Unlike most RV parks there's not many cats running around here because cats are not allowed outside of their RVs.

Located near McMinnville & Salem plus there's a casino up the road.

::The negative:

With all this construction, the gravel gets everywhere, but the landscapers are adding grass,trees & bushes so that should be cleared up after that.

Perks that will Soon to be available::

(I put these here in a separate section but under the negatives because these perks being unavailable might be an issue for others RV family's.)

dog cleaning station(guessing this will be a part of or inside of the showers for humans, so they should be available when showers are finished)

On-site dog park(not sure where this will be, but it will *might* be available soon since there's grass & other landscaping being done right now)

Showers & bathroom(nearly done)

Laundry room(nearly done)

My wife and I were one of the first full time tenants and have watched this park grow from basically a pile of dirt ( it was under construction) to a good looking park. I am giving it 5 stars for the managers John and Jewel for their efforts to make this a great park and their willingness to listen and help. I do wish it had a playground for the kids in the park and maybe someday a swimming pool. 😊

Pros, easy in and out, felt like the speed limit was abided by, bathrooms and laundry on site, very friendly on site help-Jewel, stores and gas close. Some fast food but also sit downs near as well as the casino and a short drive to Lincoln City. Small trail to the river for a view, dog friendly areas.

Cons, bathroom was very cold in the winter like there was no heat at all, app for washers was very delayed due to wi fi connection, I saw a lot of people dealing with that. VERY aggressive dog next door that lunged at me multiple times and that the frail owners struggle to control. I was afraid of what would happen and was told the dog was a support animal and I can tell you from experience that is not a service dog. Took months for the dog to be removed. Hopefully an isolated incident.

My family of 7 with 2 dogs LOVE this RV park! We have been here for 3.5 months now and it’s phenomenal! It is kept quiet, very clean and up to date. The laundry room is very spacious and has an awesome table to fold your items. The public restrooms with showers are always clean and ready for the next person. (Amazing water pressure and it’s hot hot!)

The manager John and on-site manager Jewel are both very friendly, easy to work with, attentive and honest. They even have family events here to include everyone! There is a fenced in dog park, lots of little doggie stations for cleaning up. (I haven’t seen any dog feces unattended since we moved in 3.5 months ago!!!!!) There is a little store inside the office space for convenience to the tenants. This place is definitely 5 stars! I mean, what else could you ask for? We have ZERO complaints staying here and would gladly come back!!

Park is ok. Nothing special. There are alot of people that live there. Not really a vacationers rv park. They say they have strict rules even though the lady next to us had cats and she left her rv door open 24/7 so her cats could go in and out. And there were cat fights all night long. The spot behind us people were living out of their rv's as well. There was a couple with two Littles (1 infant, and 1 about 4 or 5 yr old) they were constantly arguing and fighting. We should of called the police because it was a prime example of domestic violence. The baby was crying in the rv and the dad was screaming at it to stop crying. Would I stay here again prob not. Wouldn't have wanted to pay anymore money to stay here either.
