Nestled in the forest on the N. Santiam River, River Mountain RV Park is a perfect retreat in which to enjoy fishing, hiking, boating or just simple peace and quiet. We have restrooms/showers and laundry. Pet friendly. Cabins, tenting, and full hookups. A city park with merry go round, slide, swings and basketball a block away. Country store within walking distance ( great ice cream). Come awaken and rejuvenate your soul. Let your thoughts wander and your troubles flow down the river. Reconnect with family and friends. Campfires going bring your s'mores. Located halfway between Sisters and Salem.
From jct of Hwy 224 & Hwy 22: Go 3-1/2 mi E on Hwy 22, then 1 block S on Church St, then 2 blocks E on Willow St, then 1/2 block N on Mountain Ave.
Excellent campground. The owner/host, Laurie, is incredibly accommodating and helpful. The park is clean, well run and has a great sense of community. Our neighbors have all been incredibly kind and generous and we will definitely stay here again. 5/5 stars.
Someplace cool and green and shady. A great respite from the busy world.
We've stayed at this park for several years. We've been full time for over five years and this is one of my favorite parks. It's very peaceful and quiet. I love hearing the sound of the river. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The bath/shower rooms are very clean and well maintained as is the laundry room. There's even a small library in the laundry room if you want to trade some of your books out. I highly recommend this park.
I recommend this campground. Lori and her husband have turned this place into a peaceful escape by the river.
The facilities are clean. The shower is hot. The hosts are hospitable.
My only feedback is for the guests who come through here from far and wide. The environment of Central Oregon is a beautiful gift we need to cherish. Please respect nature and pick up your trash. Make sure you don't leave fires unattended.
My family and I had a great time here! The staff was extremely accommodating and very friendly from start to finish. A bit of a tight turn pulling in but we managed just fine in a 40 ft home with trailer. Beautiful river in the park! Very peaceful. We would pop in again. Thanks for the great experience!
