Lucerne Valley Amphitheater
USANA Amphitheatre is a nice venue especially with the VIP parking and seating. The VIP parking is close and makes leaving easy as well. The VIP seating and benefits are nice and provide a great view of the concert. Food and drinks are expensive but taste decent. Tried the brussel sprouts and hummus, diamond burger, and the pot roast poutine. The pot roast is awesome and I wish you could just order that. The water comes in a can. The burger is on the tater side and is OK. The brussel sprouts are good and would order again. Seating is close to the stage but not too close and on an elevated area with cushioned seats and can order from seats. In the VIP eating area if you go there it has free water. Overall a fun experience and worth spending depending on the experience you would like. Overall a four star experience.
So the venue itself is not my favorite because it's outside, also they do not take cash so you have to use card or go to the stand and convert your cash to a gift card type thing. And since it's outdoors you are exposed to the elements and weather. It was so windy and lots of dust flying everywhere because of it, also rained but the place itself was good, the seats were comfortable and had nice cupholders.
I enjoy concerts at USANA quite a lot. The amphitheater is very nice and the grassy area this summer was soft and green.
Getting through the security check and the ticket gates was not a problem and I still felt safe.
You can’t take chairs, but chair rental is easy. I benefited from a ticket package that included chair rental. Being over 40, it was worth it.
The sound system is very good but not great.
The amenities are good, but pretty limited.
The parking situation isn’t so awful and has improved. I recommend the parking area off of Ridge Village Drive.
I saw ghost and amon amarth here on August 7th and it was absolutely amazing! I'm blessed they had fast pass because I was able to be super close to the stage! (About 3rd or 4th row) I recommend getting there early so you can get parking (we only walked liked 3 minutes. As soon as we entered the parking lot we were able to find parking) another thing about fast lane is, when I got it there was no line for merchandise. I picked a shirt and went back to the line. The staff there are pretty cool too. I was stressing because I was afraid we weren't gonna get a good spot but we got an excellent spot. And I still have my wrist band. Thank you for a phenomenal night.
I've been here three times. I can't give a fair warning on the lawn spots since I've had the seats all three times. The first time I smelt Marijuana quite a bit, but not enough to ruin the experience. The second time was recently with Disturbed. I smelt very little of it that time so it was great and would've given it a 5* on that visit, but this one was terrible. I had a couple in front of me taking a vape every 2-3 minutes and blowing it strait up to block my view. I also smelt Marijuana about 80-90% of the time. Some moments stronger than others. Would've given it a 1 star if it was this concert individually. It is at least nice to have screens on the sides in case you're far enough out that you can't get a good view of the stage itself. The parking was hard but at least had some guidance. I at least plan on taking that long to park since it's a major event.
