This place was fun. There were a ton of mosquitos and other bugs morning and evening. We had to keep a fire smoking at all times to help keep them away. The lake was nice and there weren’t many bugs as long as we were in the water. We caught several fish.

The website says $22 a night. When we got there, the sign posted said $27 a night. Fine, whatever. It's not that much more. We pick a spot. Great view of the water. We're happy with it. Only to find out it's $57 a night! It's considered a "double spot" because it has an extra long table..... really? Keep in mind, there's only room for ONE tent. But we're supposed to pay double for an extra table?? Absolute garbage. Will not be back. Do NOT recommend.

We went in late July, there was a herd of sheep that were in the area earlier in the week, and I think that's what made the flies so bad. We walked in, excited for a lovely weekend away. What we got was so many flies that I kept looking around for dead wildlife that could be the culprit, but no, not as far as I could find anyway.

I love camping, so I made as much of it as I could until I fell into the lake and lost all my fishing equipment. That was a bit rough, and with people's dogs getting away to explore the area and introducing themselves to us, it was a camping trip remember.

Would recommend 4/5
