We stayed for 5 days in mid June. We got to know our wonderful neighbors and hosts during our stay. We planned to kayak and hike in the area and we were not disappointed . This small family owned RV park was a wonderful choice.. so quiet with a short walk to the river.
Ours was a one-night stay very early in the season, so we had the place almost all to ourselves. We enjoyed it very much. Full hookups were quick and easy, with restrooms and showers centrally located and easy to access. The RV sites are in a cleared area, well-spaced but not very private. But in return you get wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. A network of trails takes you down to the "rivers" which feed a reservoir, so instead of running rivers you have a wonderfully peaceful lake. Sit on a waterside bench a spell and enjoy!
Very nice secluded location. Showers were great during the heat. We were m over to a more shaded area by the staff with the heat. Very close to a boat launch and easy access to launch a kayak.
Nice place in the middle of the road. Good for those looking for peace. Those in charge are kind and willing to help. Walking distance from the river, where you can enjoy a dip in it. Feeling a little wild by the woods. Some of the parking sites have nice grassy areas. The wifi is weak and unstable.
By far the friendliest most accommodating campground on our 3 week 5 state family camping trip. Hosts and guests shared their knowledge of the area. Clean facilities well kept campground. Lake access was a beautiful peaceful trail. Boat access was a very short distance across the hwy. Great place to stay.
