The road in is Paved. There are 6-15 campsites at this location and the maximum RV length is 15 feet. You may stay None posted at Twin Lakes, SD.
Small campground that is very clean and quiet. There are no hookups but also no fees. This campground has restroom facilities that are maintained. The grounds themselves are maintained fairly well also. There is a picnic shelter on site as well as lake access in certain spots. Boat ramp is just down the road.
Absolutely perfect. Only one other RV here. Wind in the trees and more than a dozen species of birds. Level site. We are 24’6” and found plenty of room to maneuver. A wonderful wayside for those who enjoy nature. Wish I had my canoe with me. Lake is calm and entry area is easy. Old Man Walking.
This small lake is BLM land and South Dakota GF&P. Don't expect any conveniences what so ever. There's maybe less then 10 gravel camping pads. No water, no electricity. We've camped there during a winter in the RV, but recently tented for 3 days. Loved it. Even over the 4th of July there was no one around. Highly recommend if you want peace and quiet.
