Been going for thanksgiving weekend for years but due to covid been postponed till this year 2022. Prices almost doubled and you still have to pay for electricity being end of season it would be nice to see rates reduced. Staff was pleasant and minutes from Plattsburgh still a nice place but with high exchange rates might not be worth the trip
This RV park is terrific. We are here right now at the end of the season and the cool crisp air is very refreshing. All of the people, and I do mean all, especially the staff are super friendly and helpful. I've always wanted to see the fall colors of the leaves and I finally get to see it. Quiet, peaceful, clean, and friendly are the best words to describe this place. I'm very excited to cross into Montreal and Quebec City this weekend as well.
There’s NO cell service and the WiFi is almost as good as dial-up; when it’s working that is. The “events” on the board all week just end up being cancelled but the weekend because the “rec halls closed”. Staff will mow over ANYTHING so make sure you keep an eye while mowing, they sliced my sewer line and never told me, they also DO NOT enforce their “quiet time” hours so hope you don’t wanna sleep. All around worst month of my life. I’ll never come back. Also the manager let me pay $1,700 knowing DAMN well she had open seasonal spots for $2,000 🙃😑
Very disappointed to see how the park has changed over the last year. Since new management has taken over and the original park manager has passed away, it has become an absolute disgrace. They don’t upkeep the property (they need to hire a proper maintenance team), the office staff is barely available and doesn’t care to be helpful when they are (they’re 8-5, but we’re all there after that) and with no after hours staff it’s become an absolute mad house in the evenings ands near safety concern. On top of it all they have nickeled and dimed us, and what does that money go to? Certainly not the camper experience or property maintenance. As much as it pains me to say now, steer clear. We loved it here, but those days have come to an end.
Had to put something in the star to get here. Very disappointed. Bruce and Evan are great. Sammie has been very nice too but the rules stink. I lost my husband in October so I am here alone ..my friends don't want to visit because they have to pay $5 a piece to come in .. even charged a seven year old . We pay enough to be here...our friends should be able to visit for a few hours
