Great place to come for a walk during the day. There’s a lot of activities like a skate bowl, pickle ball, and soccer.
In Riverside Park the best of nature’s beauty is on display, even in a big city. The wind is often harsh, and the light is often overwhelming, but in a magnificent way.
My absolutely FAVORITE PLACE in all of New York!!! Every time I step foot inside this park I feel at peace (especially in a city where peace is offered only sparingly). Any time of year - especially fall and after it snows - is great to visit this park.
Despite the cold weather I decided to go for a walk at the Riverside park. I walked for almost an hour. There is plenty of space to walk around in a safe environment. I saw families, kids playing basketball, other people walking with their doggies, couples being next to each other. It was such a pleasant and quiet environment. Go and enjoy!
