About Campground

Triple Creek Campground is a family owned and operated campground surrounded by the beautiful mountain creeks of the Great Smoky Mountains. We are a short drive from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Most of our campsites are located creekside with large beautiful shade trees. Some of the things you will find at the campground are RV, camper, and tent camping sites, camper nightly rentals, a camp store, tubing, fishing, outdoor games, kids’ playground, outdoor live music, special events, and more. Located around us you will find some of the best home style restaurants, like Carver’s and Janice’s, and hiking trails, like Mt. Cammerer and Greenbrier. The Foothills Parkway, White Water Rafting, Douglas Lake, Chattahoochee Valley, Asheville, NC, Maggie Valley, Cherokee, NC, Hot Springs, and many other places are also located close by. So, come let us help you make the most of your family camping experience. We look forward to seeing you in the coming year!

The Good: Wonderful owners, very friendly, very nice. They will even deliver ice and wood to the camp site for you. Great small, family friendly campground. Kids can go tubing down the creek, which my kids really enjoyed. You can fish the creeks but you most likely won't catch anything. Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am, which everyone in the campground followed. There was the one night a dog somewhere wouldn't stop barking. Not sure if it was within the campground or not. The facilities are well maintained and clean. Laundry facilities if you need it. We didn't use them so not sure how good they are.

The Bad: Be prepared to drive atleast 45 minutes to area attractions. If that doesn't bother you, this is a great campground. The highway noise we could do without, especially motorcycles and big trucks in the middle of the night. We didn't exactly enjoy being woken up at 6AM everyday by the traffic.

Horrible experience. Not friendly at all. If you are looking to get away and relax this probably not the place. The guy in the golf cart will make sure he comes by your camp many times. Moved me from my rented spot to a worse spot. And had me rush so he could rent out my rented spot. Do not recommend at all.

Great staff. Some sites have no grate or grill for cooking over the fire. Miss that amenity found at most other campgrounds. Restrooms and shower facilities are spartan but adequate. Sites are reasonably priced though. Get what you pay for! I'll go back and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing camping experience.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and really liked the campground. Jim, Kristi, and Michelle are very friendly and it is obvious that they take pride in the place. The sites are a nice size and almost all sit on one of the creeks. It was great to sit by the fire and hear the babbling water in the evening. They keep the grounds neat and the bathrooms were always clean AND plenty of hot water for your shower. Triple creek is just about 15 min from anything you might need yet still quiet and peaceful, even on the weekends when it would fill up. We will be back for sure!
